GENERAL TERMS

  • All the shipping instructions must include the correct ( Booking# / Container# / Seal# / AES# / Pieces count / Cargo details / Total weight / POL / POD / Consignee / 1st Notify party if required / the clause if required / CBM for each unit if required ).
  • The Consignee info must include ( Name / Physical address / Tel# / Email ).
    The 1st Notify party info must include ( Name / Address & Tel# / Email ).
  • Any corrections requested after the 48 hrs will be subject to $ 60 amendment fee per B/L.
  • Any corrections requested within 7 days before the vessel arrive it will be subject to destination approval and POD customs fines per destination if applicable and amendment fee.
  • HM CARGO LLC will not be responsible for any charges resulting late correction.

IMPORTANT RULE

Unless otherwise noted, all ocean freight quotations are: valid for 30 days from the date of original quotation, subject to equipment availability, subject to any and all tariff additions, valid at time initial shipment is received. Inland freight quotations are: subject to third party increases valid at time initial shipment is received, subject to any fuel surcharges valid at time initial shipment is received, subject to weight limitations and weight distribution requirements in accordance with the local and national rules and regulations of the country (ies) of transit, subject to availability of inland carrier at time of booking. Loading, lashing, securing, blocking and bracing of cargo is for shipper’s account. Carrier reserves the right to stow cargo in the best interest of the Vessel and in compliance with local, national and international rules, regulations and conventions. On deck shipments at shipper’s risk. Dangerous cargo, as defined by 49 CFR or the IMDG Code, is subject to the line’s approval at time of booking. Kindly note all vessel dates are subject to changes. Equipment is subject to availability. See HM CARGO ORDER FORM for shipment details to which such rate will apply. Service provided to this NRA is subject to Carrier’s governing rules tariff, which is accessible at www.dpiusa.com in compliance with FMC Regulations as provided in 46 CFR 532.7.

INSURACE

We advise all our customers to put insurance on their shipments as there is no insurance on container.

RORO

Vehicle shipments should be empty and operational.

PAYMENT

We advice all customers to pay on time. Please allow 3-7 business days before we can process your payment and send you your release. HM CARGO LLC is not responsible for any demurage or detention occurs at destination due to late payment.

ETA AND ETD

All dates of sailing and arrival are estimated and HM CARGO LLC will not be responsible for any delay.

DISPATCHING CARS INSIDE UNITED SATES OF AMERICA

HM CARGO LLC advises all customers to check car before receiving from carrier and before signing the bill of lading as HM CARGO LLC will not be responsible for any damages.

The agreement is between the carrier and the customer and HM CARGO LLC is not part of this agreement.

CUSTOMS HOLD AND INSPECTION

HM CARGO LLC will not be responsible for any delay or Costs incurred due to customs investigation or hold. See bill of Lading Terms 1-34 in Rule 8 of carriers governing rules tariff.

Shipper/customer is responsible to pay rollover fee , inspection fee , examination fee , demurrage and any other fees related to US customs hold

PACKING LIST

Customer is responsible for providing HM Cargo LLC a proper packing list of goods to be loaded at customer location. HM Cargo LLC will not be responsible for any fines, fees and penalties due to failure to provide HM Cargo LLC a proper packing list of goods. Customer will be responsible for Charges incurred due to incorrect packing list.

DECLARING VALUES

HM Cargo LLC requires that the shipper provides values for goods being shipped for Documentary/ Customs purposes. Customer should do their best to provide as accurate information as possible. Customer will be responsible for Charges incurred due to incorrect values or holds caused.

WAREHOUSE RULES

HM CARGO LLC advises all customers to follow the rules and conditions of each warehouse in regards of operation and receiving hours; storage fee and releasing fee.as HM CARGO will not be responsible if you leave car outside warehouse after hours and without informing us .

CONTAINER LOADED BY CUSTOMER

HM CARGO LLC advises all customers load their own containers to inform us with all details of commodity loaded inside container and value of each item as HM CARGO LLC will not be responsible for fines or penalties occurred due to misinformation.

CARGO INSURANCE

HM CARGO LLC advises our customers to have insurance on cargo as there is no insurance on cargo either container , RORO , AIR CARGO and HM CARGO LLC will not be responsible for any damages of cargo.

CUSTOMS RULES OF EACH COUNTRY

HM CARGO LLC advise all customer to check rules and conditions of the customs of their own country before ship their cargo as HM CARGO LLC will not be responsible for any charges if country rejects the cargo.

OIL LEAKS AND DAMAGES

HM CARGO LLC advises all customers load containers with auto parts and any other commodity to make sure that there is no oil leak on the container as HM CARGO LLC will not be responsible for any charges occurred due to oil leaks or damages for the container.

WEIGHT AND MEASUREMENTS

HM CARGO LLC advises all customers load containers to follow
the limit weight of each containeras HM CARGOLLC
will not beresponsible for any extra charges occurred due to overweight.
